I’m not tooting my own horn but flipping heck man, you need to hear where I’m coming from. I actually from Zero, I don’t come from a long lineage of actors or directors or DJ’s & musicians, I have a few scattered here & there but haven’t been given ‘bring ins’. Anyway, this is the first film I ever starred in ‘Shank’. Its out on DVD this week & has reached No.4 in the National DVD Chart which is good news. Buy if for your collection. Also don’t buy a pirate copy because you will get another version…I’ve heard a few people have gone to their local dvd man & asked for ‘Shank’ popped into their DVD Player & seen this…

He’s been grinding for a while & hasn’t managed to live up to his potential as a World Junior Champ through injury. Good to see him back on form. I still think nobody is beating Bolt though…Maybe Gaye & thats a big maybe!

I’m the biggest Disney / Pixar fan! From ‘The Incredibles’ to ‘Monsters Inc’ to ‘Finding Nemo’ to ‘Cars’ …I LOVE THEM ALL! So you can imagine my excitement when I heard they were making ‘Toy Story 3′! I made the mistake of going to see ‘Toy Story 3D’ when it came out thinking it was the 3rd instalment of the ‘Toy Story’ series, but was all good as I got a great reminder of how big the 1st movie really was.
‘Toy Story 3′ definitely doesn’t fail to disappoint, my only annoyance watching this movie was having to sit right @ the front of the cinema due to it being sold out. The movie picks up a few years after ‘Toy Story 2′ & Andy is about to start college. The toy’s are under no illusion that their time as Andy’s best buddies are up thus beginning their acceptance of life in Andy’s Mum’s attic.
The would be simple move from Andy’s bedroom to the Attic doesn’t go as smoothly as planned & the toys end up getting thrown in the garbage, being saved then being taken to a nearby nursery. Their dreams of being played with for the rest of their lives slowly became a nightmare when they’re put in the toddler class. Anyone that has or knows a toddler knows they have absolutely no respect for anything let alone toys …this part of the movie is hilarious as you can see the genuine fear in their eyes as the toddlers beat, smash, hit & batter the toys into plastic pulps.
This movie is probably the best out of the ‘Toy Story Trilogy’ as it truly plays with your emotions as you begin to look @ the characters more as human beings with real feelings rather than just play things for children.
‘Toy Story 3′ peaks @ the end where a decision is made which I can’t lie, had me crying a little bit …it was a real manly cry but a cry nonetheless.
Whether you have little ones or not, this movie is definitely a must see by all. 5 ‘C’s from me!

Gorillaz did a show in a place called Byblas. Listen to me, the show was on the beach & the audience were sitting over the sea KMT! This is the BEST setting for a show that I’ve ever done. The Lebanese crowd were heavy, they knew all the words & screamed them back. White Flag was even crazier because of the ‘National Orchestra for Arabic Music’ so when Kano & I performed over it…PANDEMONIUM.
All the Gorillaz Classics destroyed the beach & Bobby Womack is a legend.
After the show we went to a club that Time Out has called ‘Best Club in the World’ – Sky Bar. I was thinking ‘oh just shut up, stop gassing this club’ until I got there!!!
This is the ‘Best Club in The World’ Chuss Me! Its heavy OMG, OMFG, NO BS! It was an open air club…there was fire on the Roof! They were serving some good food too. Music was sick, they played ‘Pass Out & Frisky’ Boop Boop! The women were super sexy too, nothing under a 7 LOL! Anyway I’m coming back for New Years fingers crossed, F*** raving in London!
I couldn’t give you a proper write up on Benicassim because the last two days have been so flipping hectic. Anyway, I took off for the festival after getting no bloody sleep whatsoever because I finished the Chipmunk ‘Shine Shine Tour’ in Bristol, then did a show in Cardiff then sped back to London to grab some things then catch another car to the airport…sorry the clearport, hahaha I’m so gassed sometimes but yeah it was a private plane to Spain, my first time, ‘llow me.
It was BANKING in Valencia, the hotel we was staying in was heavy too. We were told we were leaving at 9.45 but I forgot to move my watch forward one hour so was sleeping whilst everyone was leaving I had to get ready the quickest I’ve had to do in my life. 5mins – Shower, Teeth, Cream, Dress – Superman ting.
Got to the show & to my surprise there was so many English people, I was expecting to see some Spanish hotties all over the place, well there was but I’m just greedy.
Dizzee was on just before the Gorillaz he had the crowd buzzing like we was in Eskimo Dance in 2001. They were jumping up & down going MAAD! Heavy to see & inspirational.
Gorillaz went on afterwards. Whenever Gorillaz do a a show its a madness cos there is a massive entourage! 100+ Crazy! Back stage is like a party. We tour Benicassim apart. It’s beyond music its Theatre, White Flag is becoming a monster too. Feel Good is what it is, A UNIVERSAL SMASH!
Went back to the hotel lobby & chilled for a few hours, Dizzee came to join us for a while cos we were all in the same hotel. Happy Days.
Final Days of the Chipmunk Shine Shine Tour was a lil emotional still. We been on the road together for a month. Marvell, Aggro, Wretch, Chip, AR & Ragz2Richez. It was all love back stage & at the craaazy after parties we were attending. Wretch & I have always been cool from the jump so that was a given. Chip & I have always been blessed too so I spent alot of time with them two in particular.
Being on the tour made all our friendships cement together even stronger, we’re building a unit, watch & see what happens from here.
Even though I’ve toured before, this one opened my eyes to alot of things. There is a massive world outside of London, youtube views, 1xtra & original core fanbase. I saw thousands of people who loved Chipmunk’s music & to my surprise loved mine too + fell in love with the new songs, especially Fantasy. I think back to when I was gonna pull out from ‘The Shine Shine Tour’, my ignorant reasons for doing so & then when my management team told me that pulling out would be a really silly move! It proves to me that there are always new things to learn in life & even me as bold as I usually am, can sometimes feel vulnerable. Fear of the unknown can mess up a mans curiosity to explore, in life try to eradicate it. “Fortune favours the Brave” I fully embrace that now.
I loved the tour, now have a new outlook & energy within, watch what me & my team do from here.
